The way you move your mouse can tell a lot of about your mood, according to a new study. Most people can tell if you’re angry based on the way you’re acting. Professor Jeffrey Jenkins can tell if you’re angry by the way you move a computer mouse.
The BYU information systems expert says people experiencing anger (and other negative emotions – frustration, confusion and sadness) become less precise in their mouse movements and move the cursor at different speeds.
Thanks to advances in modern technology, Jenkins and his colleagues can now gather and process enough data points from your cursor movement to measure those deviations and indicate your emotional state.

Woman to pay Rs 50 lakh for accusing actor of rape

Woman to pay Rs 50 lakh for accusing actor of rape

chennai. Perhaps in a first of its kind order, the Madras high court has awarded 50 lakh compensation to an actor who was convicted based on the rape charges levelled by a woman.

About 16 years ago, maverick actor Mansoor Ali Khan found himself in the middle of adverse publicity when a 23-year-old woman accused him of rape. According to the woman, she approached the actor after he put up an advertisement for a secretary. She claimed that in November 1996 Khan took her to a hotel in his car and offered her juice laced with sedatives. She said he raped her repeatedly and threatened her against revealing it to anyone. In May 1998, she gave birth to a girl.

On the woman’s complaint, Khan was arrested on December 11, 1998. He was found guilty of sexual harassment and convicted on March 27, 2001. The trial court awarded him seven years’ rigorous imprisonment and slapped a fine of 3 lakh. The Madras high court, however, set aside his prison term, but asked him to pay 3.25 lakh to the woman and 7 lakh to the child. His appeal against the ruling was dismissed by the Supreme Court in February 2008.

In his petition in the HC, Khan said he came across a matrimonial case initiated by the woman, seeking to reunite with her husband. Claiming that the marriage took place in August 1994, she had sought restitution of conjugal rights, the petition said.

Who wants to fight this girl 17 Year Old Wrestler

There are no women in the heaving crowd watching the dangal, a traditional wrestling tournament. It is being held in a large bowl-shaped clearing, surrounded by the village of Salawa, vast fields of ripe sugarcane and the Ganga canal that runs along the Doab plain of western Uttar Pradesh.
The dangal has been organised by Salawa residents although the 10,000-odd spectators could be from any of the nearby 24 villages, referred to collectively as the chaubisi.
The area is brimming with men, with more arriving by foot and on packed autorickshaws and tractors. The organising committee, comprising politicians, a few holy men and police officials, sits in a tented bandstand, sipping cold drinks.
Others moustachioed old men in turbans, teens watching through smartphones  squat on the fringe of the wrestling ring. Inside a circle marked in white chalk, the men slathered in mitti  the driven earth on which kushti is fought grapple, to the rhythm of beating dhols.
Divya, meanwhile, has begun her walk into the crowd again. Once more they reward her. Later, when the stack of notes is tallied, it stands at Rs 15,878. There’s a Rs 1,000 from the sponsor, Thakur Vikram Singh Rathore. An old man gives her a Rs 10 note and ask for Rs 4 in change so he can pay for a rickshaw ride home. Another old man, with a thick white moustache and a matching turban, stops Divya. “Thanks for not beating my grandson,” he says, even as he stuffs two 10-rupee notes in her hand.

Plastic Roads Initiative Is A Lesson For All Indian Cities
Jamshedpur has set an example in recycling for the rest of the country by using plastic waste for road construction.Plastic waste is one of the most prominent sources of environmental pollution. Making the problem worse is the fact that it is hard to dispose of.
The initiative which started out as a pilot project is now being replicated across the city and so far 48 to 50 kilometers of roads in the city have been constructed using plastic waste.
Plastic bottles, wrappers et al are collected from across the city and brought to 10 collection centres. The waste is then broken down by shredding it to 2mm to 4mm before processing it further.
This initiative was a result of a research started two years back by Jamshedpur Utilities and Services Company (JUSCO), a subsidiary of Indian corporate giant TATA.

History and Application of Yoga

History and Application of Yoga,The word yoga is derived from the ancient Sanskrit language, and it means “Union”, it is an influence in the Darsana School. It is one of the six darshans, the orthodox systems of Indian philosophy; although its influence pervades many Indian philosophies. The original yoga scripts date back to around the second Century BC when they were written by Patanjali. Early Hindu Vedic texts speak of ecstatic, who may have been the predecessors of yogis or followers of yoga. Patanjali’s Yoga is sometimes known as Raja or “Royal” Yoga, to denote its superiority over other schools.

Today Hindus believe that all living things are trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth, which the West refers to as reincarnation and they call samsara. When they have successfully broken this cycle they have achieved the state of moksha which means liberation, and yoga is an essential practice in that liberation.

Today yoga has a more practical application and that is primarily focused on the physical practice of yoga, though its basic remiss is still the existence of a spiritual being or god. Yoga practitioners want to acquire spiritual liberation through the state of Samadhi, especially from the bondage of matters when the sense of self can achieve its original pure state. Samadhi is a sense of profound concentration which brings about spiritual release.
The practice of yoga is a process of eight linear stages rather than a single act. Before physically practicing yoga it is necessary to make certain ethical preparations, the first is yama or “restraint”, which is an abstinence from physical injury (ahimsa), as well as lies, stealing, lust, and avarice; and the second stage is niyama or “observance”, which denotes a clean body, study, austerity, contentment, and devotion to God.

Tirupati Venkateswara Temple

Vishnu in the form of Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala Venkateshwara (Sanskrit & Telugu), also known as Venkatachalapathy or Srinivasa or Balaji, is the supreme God believed to be a form of the Hindu Deity Lord Vishnu. He appeared in this Yuga Kali Yuga for saving the people who have fallen deeply and are deluded in three modes of material nature.
Lord Venkateshwara means supreme God who destroys the sins of the people in this material world ‘ven+kata+eshwara=sins+destroyer+supremegod’). He is Vishnu, who is transcendental to the material energy, Vishnu does not have direct contact with material people, and therefore yogis carry out severe penances to have a vision of Vishnu’s lotus feet. How ever, in the kali yuga people have fallen to the point that they have even lost themselves due to ignorance in bodily consciousness. Lord Vishnu out of love towards his devotees therefore incarnated as Venkateshwara.
The exact period in which the temple was founded is not known, and tradition has it that the temple is Swayambhustala, meaning that it came into existence on its own without anyone constructing it. According to folk legends, there was a huge anthill at Tirupati. A farmer heard a voice from the heavens asking him to feed the ants. By chance the local king heard the voice and began supplying milk for the ants himself.
His compassion resulted in the liquid uncovering a magnificent idol of Lord Venkateshwara hidden beneath the anthill.According to some evidence the history of the temple dates back almost 2,000 years. In ancient times, a queen called Samavai, belonging to the Pallava dynasty (614 AD), is said to have consecrated the first silver image here. The temple is also mentioned in Sangam poetry (500 BC – 2000 AD).
Numerous temple inscriptions from the 9th century record details of the temple and contributions made by both Pallavas and Chola Kings. It is believed that originally there was only one shrine at Tirumala. When the Vaishnavite saint, Ramanuja, visited Andhra in the 12th century, the temple at Tirupathi was built. The Chola period saw the temple complex prosper and expand further. In 1517, Krishnadevaraya, on one of his many visits to the temple, donated gold and jewels enabling the Vimana (inner shrine) roofing to be gilded.
